◆Finding Items in the Phonebook

Make sure that the unit is in the standby mode.

All phonebook items are sorted in the following order:

Alphabet Letter/Symbol/Number/Telephone Number (when a name is not stored).

1.Z Á to enter the phonebook.

•The first item is displayed.

•If ‘No Stored Memory’ is displayed, the phonebook is empty. The handset will return to the standby mode.

2.Z U or S until desired name is displayed.

To search for a name by initial

1.Z Á to enter the phonebook.

•The first item is displayed.

2.Press the dialling button for the first letter of the desired name until any name with the same initial is displayed.

•The letters are printed on the dialling buttons.

Eg. To find ‘Felix’, Z C repeatedly until the first item under ‘F’ is displayed.

3.Z U until the desired name is displayed.

◆Dialling from the Phonebook

Make sure that the unit is in the standby mode.

1.Z Á.

2.Z U or S until desired name is displayed.

•You can also search for an item by initial.

•To exit the phonebook,Z P.

3.Z O or %.

•The number is dialled automatically.

4.To hang up, Z P or place the handset on the base unit.
