Displays

Handset
1 ” and “ ” indicate the status of each line as follows:
2“SP” is shown when you are using the handset speakerphone.
3 ” indicates Voice Enhancer mode is on (p. 36).
4“PRIVACY” indicates Call Privacy mode is on (p. 65). Other extension users
cannot join your conversation.
5The battery icon indicates battery strength (p. 16).
6The extension number of your handset is displayed if it has been registered to
the base unit (p. 3, 90, 91).
7The display shows the dialed number, call status, programming options, phone
book items, Caller ID information, etc.
8The icons on the bottom line indicate the functions of the corresponding soft
keys which are located directly below the display (p. 9).
9D” (extension icon) and extension numbers are displayed (ex. base unit=“0”,
handset 1= “1”)
a) during an intercom call (p. 55) or a conference call (p. 61);
b) while monitoring a room (p. 64).
Off (invisible) The line is free.
On The line is being used.
Flashing A call is on hold on the handset or base unit, or the
Answering System is answering a call (p. 71).
Flashing rapidly A call is being received.
