more minutes with the SD Video Camera on Windows Media Player, these files may be stopped. Also, when using these files on SD-MovieStage, you may fail in [Play], [Cut edit] or [Convert]. In this case, click [Windows Media Update] on the installation screen or [WMP9QFEInst.exe] in [WMP9QFE] folder on the CD-ROM and follow the messages to update Windows Media Player. (This update is effective when you play back these files with Windows Media Player and the playback is stopped about 3 or 4 minutes later.)

≥To play back files recorded with [Extra fine] without installing SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5, install [MPEG4 Decoder Plug-in] on the CD-ROM (supplied).

≥When MPEG4 moving picture recorded by [Extra fine] is played back with other PCs (Windows Media Player 6.4 or later), re-change it using [Convert] function of the SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5.

1Start the SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5.

2Copy the MPEG4 file recorded by [Extra fine] to the hard disk of the PC with the SD-MovieStaeg Ver.2.5. (Refer to page 16 of the PDF-based instruction of the SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5.)

3Select the file copied to the hard disk and click [Convert]. (Refer to page 41 of the PDF-based instruction of the SD-MovieStage Ver.2.5.)

4Select [D-snap (SV-AV25/AV50)] on [Output format] and select [High] on [Quality].

5Click [OK].

Before Requesting Service

Power

1:The SD Video Camera power cannot be turned on.

1-1: Is the power source connected correctly?

1-2: Is the Battery fully charged? Charge it with the AC Adaptor.

2:The SD Video Camera power shuts

off automatically.

2:If you do not use the SD Video Camera for more than 5 minutes, the power shuts off automatically to save the Battery power.

3:The SD Video Camera power does

not stay on long enough.

3:Is the Battery low? Charge the Battery

or attach a fully charged Battery.

Battery

1:Battery runs down quickly.

1-1: Is the Battery fully charged? Charge it with the AC Adaptor.

1-2: Are you using the Battery in an extremely cold place? In cold places, the operating time of the Battery becomes shorter.

1-3: Has the Battery worn out? If the operating time is still short even after the Battery is fully charged, the Battery has worn out.

Recording

1:Recording does not start although

power is supplied to the SD Video Camera and the Memory Card is correctly inserted.

1-1: Is the SD Video Camera turned on?

1-2: Is the write-protect switch set to [LOCK]? Being set to [LOCK], the Memory Card cannot be recorded.

1-3: Does the Memory Card have enough free space? Delete useless data in the Memory Card.
