5.5Audio Mode Selection

Australian broadcasters transmit MPEG and/or Dolby Digital audio with all programs. The audio mode default setting is MPEG. This can be changed by pressing the AUDIO button on the remote control to display the Audio OSD. The Audio OSD shows on screen the available soundtracks. The currently played track is highlighted. Use the cursor up/down buttons to change the selection. The OSD will disappear in a few seconds or Exit will remove the OSD.

5.6SD Picture Format Selection

During the installation, the digital receiver aspect ratio is automatically set to widescreen 16:9 when a HD format video is selected as the output format. With a SD output format, the aspect ratio is set to 4:3.

The aspect ratio can be changed, in SD, between widescreen 16:9, centre cut for 4:3, or letterbox. The Display Aspect can be changed using the remote control by

pressing the aspect Manual background button to bring up the

OSD. The OSD will have one aspect selection highlighted. To change the display aspect, push the aspect button until the desired picture aspect is selected. The OSD will disappear after a few seconds. This function is the same as the SD Picture Format setting on page 15.
