downloads an update, if any
software updates are available
Download new software to TV.

If System Update is performed, the software will be updated (it may change TV
functions). If you do not wish to do so, set “Auto Update Search in Standby” to Off.

Note
•When the TV is switched to standby, there will be a clicking sound after a short delay.
Similar clicking sounds will also occur at 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM (p. 40) when “Auto update
Search in Standby” is set to “On”. These sounds are normal.
