SPECTRA II™ ZOOM
The Spectra II™ dome can magnify an object up to 128 times. The dome has 16X of optical zoom and 8X of electronic (digital) zoom for 128X total zoom. The amount of zoom can be set for 16X, 32X, 64X, or 128X. Software controls the amount of zoom. Refer to the Zoom Limit section to program the zoom limits.
16X or 32X Zoom
Press the Zoom Tele button to magnify an object up to 16 or 32 times. Hold down the button until you have the picture you want.
64X or 128X Zoom
1.Press the Zoom Tele button until the picture reaches 32X zoom.
2.Release the button.
3.Within one second, press the button again until you have the picture you want.
Zoom Wide
Press the Zoom Wide button to increase the field of view.
SPECTRA LITE™ ZOOM
The Spectra Lite™ dome can magnify an object up to 12 times (the dome has 12X of optical zoom).
Zoom Telephoto - Press and hold down the Zoom Tele button until you have the picture you want.
Zoom Wide - Press the Zoom Wide button to increase the field of view.

When a preset operation is performed, the amount of error in moving to the pan and tilt position is 1/2 degree. If you command the dome to go to an undefined preset, erratic operation may result.
Presets 33 and 34 are fixed commands, meaning that you cannot program them. Preset 33 is the “flip” command, which will pan the dome drive 180 degrees from the position it is at. Preset 34 is the “pan zero” command, which will direct the dome drive to the factory- determined zero reference point.
