CONFIGURING INTELLIGENT ENCODER BEHAVIORS
After you install the NET5301T-I intelligent video encoder, you can install one or more optional intelligent encoder behaviors (refer to Optional Behaviors on page 7 for available intelligent encoder behaviors and licenses).
Each optional behavior package includes the following items:
•One NET5301T-I behavior installation CD, including product label with license registration number
•One behavior license manager manual
•One behavior installation manual
NOTE: You can install more than one behavior on a single NET5301T-I. However, the encoder can only operate one behavior at a time.
To configure an intelligent encoder behavior, perform the following general steps:
1.Insert the NET5301T-I behavior installation CD into any Endura workstation on the Endura network.
2.Use the license manager software to install the behavior onto the appropriate NET5301T-I units; refer to the Intelligent Encoder License Manager manual (C3610M).
3.Configure the behavior for all appropriate NET5301T-I units from the Endura workstation.
Refer to the appropriate behavior installation manual for specific installation and configuration steps.
