mode) • When the shutter release button is pressed halfway to focus, the camera automatically tracks the subject if it is determined to be a moving object. The lens will automatically operate and continuously focus on the subject.

2 Look through the viewfinder and press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus indicator ]appears in the viewfinder and you will hear a beep when the subject comes into focus. (When blinking, the subject is not in focus.)
