256Formatting the SD Memory Card

Use this camera to format (initialize) an SD Memory Card that is unused or has been used on other cameras or digital devices.

Formatting will delete all the data on the SD Memory Card.

•Do not remove the SD Memory Card while formatting. The card may be damaged and become unusable.

•Note that formatting will delete all data, either protected or unprotected.

1Select [Format] in the [RSet-up 4] menu and press the four-way controller (5).

The [Format] screen appears.
