Leg de stof van het project op het materiaal dat moet worden vervilt voor een creatieve versiering. Controleer of het kleinste deel dat moet worden vervilt aan de juiste zijde van het project zit (voor of achterkant).

De versierselstof kan zowel aan de goede als aan de verkeerde kant van het project worden genaaid. Experimenteer eerst met een proeflapje zodat u kunt zien wat u het beste vindt voor uw uiteindelijke project.

Plaats de lagen die worden vervilt samen onder de transparante stofkap met naaldgeleider. Stel desgewenst de hoogte af, zodat het project nog vrij onder de transparante stofkap met naaldgeleider (zie pagina 43) kan bewegen.

Beweeg de stof in alle richtingen zodat de naalden de lagen kunnen samenvoegen.

Nadat uw versiering gereed is, stopt de naald bij de stoppositie en zal automatisch omhoog komen uit het project. Omdat de naald altijd stopt in de bovenste stand, kunt u uw projecten altijd heel gemakkelijk in het verviltgedeelte leggen of weer verwijderen. De naald zal nooit breken wanneer u uw project plaatst of wegneemt.
