ADVANCED MENU FEATURES

USING DIGITAL CAPTIONING

Closed Captioning (CC) allows you to read the voice content of television

programs on the TV screen. Closed Captioning is only available when the broadcaster supplies it. Even when the broadcaster supports Closed Captioning, it will not be available dur- ing all programs (most commercials are not closed captioned).

Press the MENU button on

1 the remote control to show the onscreen menu.

Press the CURSOR BUT-

2 TONS to navigate to FEATURES, then CLOSED CAPTION.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT

3 button. The CLOSED CAP- TION menu appears. Select the caption mode and caption service you would like.

Press the MENU Button to

4 back up and select CAPTION OPTIONS. To personalize your captions Press the Cursor Right button to turn the options on.

In the FEATURES MENU,

5 the Caption options are listed below CAPTION OPTIONS after it has been turned on.

The options are CAPTION SIZE, CAPTION STYLE, CAP- TION COLOR, and CC BACKGROUND. Use the Cursor Buttons to make your selections and follow the on- screen instructions.

Press the INFO/EXIT but-
