Activate/deactivate alarm timer

1In the standby mode, press SLEEP/TIMER repeatedly.

»If timer is activated, is displayed.

»If timer is deactivated, disappears on the display.

Tip

Alarm timer is not available when the source is set as “MP3 LINK” or “AUX”.

If CD/USB/iPod/iPhone source is selected but no disc is placed or no USB/iPod/iPhone connected, the system switches to FM automatically.

Set the sleep timer

This apparatus can switch to standby automatically after a set period.

1When the apparatus is turned on, press SLEEP/TIMER repeatedly to select a preset period (in minutes).

»When sleep timer is activated, is displayed.

To deactivate sleep timer

1Press SLEEP/TIMER repeatedly until [SLE OFF] is displayed.

Listen to an audio device

You can listen to an audio device through this apparatus.

1Ensure the external audio device is connected to this apparatus (see “Connect” > “Connect an external audio device”).

2Press MP3 LINK/AUX repeatedly to select the audio input through the MP3-LINK socket or AUX IN (L and R) sockets.

3Start to play the device (see the device user manual).

Listen through headphone

1Plug a headphone into the socket.
