Switching on/ to standby and selecting functions

1To switch on, press B, or press SOURCE, or iPod (or DISC/TUNER, iPod/AV, or DTV/ ATV on the remote control).

The system will switch on the last selected source.

2To select your function, press SOURCE or iPod once or more (or DISC/TUNER, iPod/AV, or DTV/ATV on the remote control).

3Press B to switch the set to standby.

Helpful hints:

– In the standby mode, the tone, sound settings, tuner presets, and the volume level (up to a maximum volume level of 20) will be retained in the set’s memory.

Display information

During playback, press DISPLAY to switch between the clock/timer display and the status of the set (or on the remote control, INFO / DISPLAY).

Adjusting picture

On the TV screen, you can adjust your picture settings: Brightness, Contrast, Color and Tint.

1On the remote control, press PICTURE once or more to select BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, COLOR and TINT.

2Press VOL +/- to adjust the value between 00 and 32.

Press VOL +/- to adjust the volume.

Display shows VOLUME and. a number from 00 to 32.

DSC

Digital Sound Control enables you to select predefined sound settings.

Press DSC repeatedly to select your desired sound setting:

CLASSIC, POP, MOVIE or SPEECH is displayed.

MUTE

During playback, you can temporarily switch off the sound without switching off the set.

1Press MUTE to switch off the sound.

MUTE appears on the TV screen .

Playback continues without sound.

2To switch on the sound, press MUTE again or adjust the volume with VOL controls.
