Password Setup Page

You can change the PARENTAL password (3308 by default).

To change your password

1In Password Setup Page, press 4 to select Password.

2Press á to select Change.

➜ The Password pop-up appears.

3Use Numeric Keypad (0-9) on the remote control to enter your old and new passwords in the 3 boxes.

4Press OK to confirm.

To set your parental rating

1In Preference Page, Press 4 to select Parental.

2Press á to enter the options:

KID SAFE G

PG PG 13 PGR R NC 17 ADULT

3Press 3 / 4 to select your option.

4Press OK to confirm.

➜The password pop-up appears

5Use the Numeric Keypad (0-9)on the remote control to enter your 4-digit password

(3308 by default)

Default

You can use this function to reset all settings except for your PARENTAL password.

1Use the navigation controls to select Default.

2Press á to select RESET.

3Press OK to confirm.

The rating of DVD discs equipped with the child lock function is content-based and varies with different discs. Depending on the particular disc, you can lock out selected scenes or playback of the entire disc.

➜The rating options are shown onscreen in descending order of suitability for children.

For example, setting a rating at PG will lock out playback of scenes rated PG-13 onwards.
