Philips EB-GD67 Cell Broadcasts

Ifthe phone is not in chat mode when receiving a reply to a chat message, it

willbe received as a normal sms. If a voice call is received when in chat

mode,the phone will allow the user to accept the incoming call and return

tochat mode at the end of the call.

5 Toexit chat mode FQeQ

Thelast sent message will be stored in the Out box.

Thelast part of the received message will be stored in the In box.

Allother messages from the latest chat, will automatically be deleted from

thephone.

Itis also possible to initiate chat mode from the Messages menu.

Cell Broadcasts

Theuser will need to specify the topic(s) of information that is to be

receivedas broadcasts before they can be received. It is important that the

userensures the list is empty in order to receive optimum broadcasts.

,select Messages> Broadcasts > Topics

3 Useeto cycle through the available topics

selectRX On from the pop up menu

5FQtoinsert the currently displayed topic into your broadcast

list

Note:There are 3 Cell Broadcast options: Not Receiving,Receiving and

Receiveand Notify Upon Arrival

Message List

Thisis a store for the last received broadcast messages. Messages can be

deletedfrom here.

Language

Thelanguage in which broadcast messages are displayed can be changed

(R).
