DTV SETUP (AUTOPROGRAM)
Once connected to receive
digital ATSC broadcast
signals, available area channels
can be added into the DPTV’s
channel scan memory by the use of
the DTV Setup Menu.

Press the remote’s “DTV” Command mode button (or the “Source” button on the DPTV’s local keyboard) to select the ATSC operating mode.

option the DPTV rewrites its entire
digital channel scan “map”
currently held in memory.
The “add new channels” Auto
Program option allows you to retain
the current DPTV channel scan
memory map, and include only the
new digital channel stations as they
become available for selection.
•The DPTV’s “Tuning - Program or Channel” Menu control allows you to switch between either tuning to a specific physical channel (direct tune); or using the DTV Setup list of programmed channels (or the “installed” channel map) without the loss of previously stored
PSIP channel encoded information (see explanation given above).
If, for instance, a new program is located during the use of the direct access “Tuning - Channel” search mode of operation, the viewer could easily add the new channel number into the memory code list of the DPTV by the use of the “Add/Delete Channels” control found under the FEATURES MENU option.
