Using auto install

Tuning to radio stations

A Press SOURCE button until “TUNER FM” appears on the display panel.

B Press S / T briefl y on the remote control.

The display panel will show “SEARCH” until a radio station with suffi cient signal strength is found.

C Repeat step B if necessary until you fi nd the desired radio station.

D To fi ne-tune the reception of a weak station, press . / > briefl y and repeatedly until an optimal reception is found.

Helpful Hints:

–If the FM radio station is transmitting RDS (Radio Data System) data, the RDS name will be displayed and stored.

Presetting radio stations

You can store up to 40 FM preset radio stations in the system’s memory. There are three different ways to program the radio stations:

–Using auto install (for fi rst time setup only)

–Using automatic preset

–Using manual preset

Helpful Hints:

–The system will exit presetting mode if no button is pressed within 20 seconds.

–If no valid frequency is detected during tuner installation, “PLEASE CHECK FM ANTENNA” appears.

This feature is only applicable for the fi rst time radio station programming. You will be prompted for installing the radio stations once you access the tuner mode. With one touch of the button, all the available radio stations will be stored automatically.

A Press SOURCE on the system panel to select TUNER mode.

“AUTO INSTALL PRESS PLAY” appears.

B Press and hold u (PLAY PAUSE) on the system panel until “INSTALL TUNER” appears on the display panel.

All the available radio stations with strong signal strength will be stored automatically.

Once complete, the last tuned radio station will be played back.
