Assign the IP addre ss manually
On the NP3900, enter an IP add ress that
allows the unit t o be in the same subnet
as the route r.
For example, i f the router has
IP address: 192.168.1.1, Subnet mask:
255.255.255.000;
Then, enter t he following on the unit:
IP address: 192.168.1.X X (where XX
denotes a numbe r), Subnet mask:
255.255.255.000.
Press / repeatedly to selec t the entry
location;
To enter the desired di gits, use the
alphanumeric buttons on the remote
control; or press / repeatedly.
Note
Ensure that yo u never enter an IP add ress that
is already as signed to a computer /device on
the networ k.
