Loading the batteries
1Open the battery compartment cover.
2Insert two 'AA'
3Close the cover.
Caution: Do not mix old and new batteries. Also never mix different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, etc.)

Remote control device code
To operate the player via the remote control without response from a second DVD player, you can program both player and remote control to use a second set of remote control codes.
The default system code is Code 1.
Programming the player to respond to Code 2
1Press ON/OFF to switch off the player.
2Simultaneously press SOUND MODE and / OPEN/CLOSE on the player for three seconds and then press ON/OFF to switch the player on again.
➤The player will now be programmed to respond to Code 2.
➤When steps 1 and 2 are repeated the system code is set to Code 1 again.
