Withthe function ’EasyLink/NexTView’, your video recorder
canexchange information with the television (see instruction
manualTV set.). With ’Easy Link/NexTView’ the TV channels
fromthe TV will automatically be loaded.
aSwitchoff the TV set.
bRemovethe aerial cable plug from your TV set and insert
itinto the 2socketat the back of the video recorder.
cPlugone end of the aerial cable provided into the 3
socketon the video recorder and the other end into the
aerialinput socket on your TV set.
dPlugone end of the special scart cable provided into the
EXT.1AV 1 scart socket at the back of the video recorder
andthe other end into the scart socket on your TV set
(seeinstruction manual TV set).
eSwitchon the TV set.
fInsertone end of the mains cable into the mains socket
4atthe back of the video recorder and the other end
intothe wall socket.
gThevideo recorder will automaticallyload all TV
channelsstored on your TV, in the same sequence.
Thismay take several minutes.
Whenall information has been copied, the following text
willappear on the TV screen: ’EASY LINK LOADING
COMPLETE’.
hCheckif time and date are correct. Read the section
’SettingTime/Date’ in the chapter’INSTALLING YOUR
VIDEORECORDER’.

gIfyour TV set automatically switches to programme
numbere.g.: ’EXT’, ’0’, or ’AV’, this text will appear on the
