DIfyou have connected a decoder, you must install it
asdescribed in the next section.
DIfyou have connected a satellite receiver, please
readthe section ’satellite receiver’.
Allocating a decoder
SomeTV stations will send coded TV channels, that you can
onlywatch when you use a decoder. You can connect such a
decoder(descrambler) to your video recorder. With the
followingfunction, the connected decoder will automatically
beactivated for the TV programme you want to watch.
DWith’Connecting with scart cable and ’Easy
Link/NexTView’the decoder must be activated for
theTV set.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bChoosethe television channel on which you wish to use
thedecoder with the ;Por P=buttons on the video
recorderor the number buttons 0-9 onthe remote
control.
cPressthe MENU buttonon the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
dSelectthe line ’INSTALLATION’ with the P=or
;Pbuttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
eSelectthe line ’MANUAL SEARCH’ with the P=or
;Pbuttonand confirm with the Pbutton.
fSelectthe line ’DECODER’ with the P=or ;Pbutton.
