When the power is turned on the red Flash LED (A) is illuminated. You adjust the Flash power settings by pressing the 1/2 or 1/10

The Voltage Smart PhotoMaster PM800 & PM800R models are fully charged when the green READY lamp is on. Lowest power (25 ws) setting charge time is a maximum of .8 seconds and at full power charge (800 ws) time is a maximum of 3 seconds. The unit may be flashed before fully charged.
