Wait for the person to answer the call.
4. Talk to the voice-only participant using the closest microphone.
If a videoconference is in progress, the voice-only participant can converse
with all the sites in the videoconference.
Answering a Voice-Only CallWhen you receive a voice-only call, your Concorde•4500 rings and you see
messages on your screen letting you know that you have an incoming voice-only
call.
To answer a voice-only call:
1. Press CALL/ADD.
YouÕll see messages indicating that the system is answering the call.
2. Talk to the voice-only participant using the closest microphone.
If a videoconference is in progress, the voice-only participant can converse
with all the sites in the videoconference.
If your system administrator has set up your system to answer voice-only calls
automatically, you donÕt have to do anything to answer a call. When a call comes
in, your system answers it and you can hear the other person.
T I P
If the voice-only participant canÕt hear you, your system may be
muted. If it is, Mute: Near End appears on your screen. Press MUTE
to turn mute off.

F.Y.I. If your system administrator has set up your system to answer calls
automatically with mute turned on, Mute: Near End appears on your
screen. Press MUTE to turn mute off.
