Changing the viewing angleduring playback (Multi-angle)
WithDVDs featuring multi-angle (scenes shot
frommultiple angles) recordings, you can
switchamong viewing angles during play-
back.
!Duringplayback of a scene shot frommul-
tipleangles, the angle icon isdis-
played.Turn angle icon display on or off
usingDVD SETUP. For details, refer to Set-
tingangle icon display on page 59.
%TouchANGLE during playback of a
sceneshot from multiple angles.
Eachtime you touch ANGLE it switches be-
tweenangles.

the

markindicates the number of angles
fromwhich scenes were shot.
!TouchingANGLE during fast forward/fast re-
verse,pause or slow motion playback returns
youto normal playback.
Resume playback (Bookmark)
TheBookmark function lets you resume play-
backfrom a selected scene the next time the
discis loaded.
!Toperform this function, switch the remote
controloperation mode to DVD. (Refer to
page17.)
%Duringplayback, press
BOOKMARK(BOOK.M) at the point you
wantto resume playback next time.
Theselected scene will be bookmarked so that
playbackresumes from that point next time.
Youcan bookmark up to five discs. After that,
theoldest bookmark is replaced by the new
one.
#Toclear the bookmark on a disc, press and
holdBOOKMARK (BOOK.M) during playback.
#Youcan also bookmark a disc by pressing and
holdingEJECT at the point you want to bookmark.
Nexttime you load the disc, playback will resume
fromthe bookmarked point. Note that you can
onlybookmark one disc using this method. To
clearthe bookmark on a disc, press EJECT.
Selecting audio output
Youcan switch between stereo and monaural
audiooutput.
!Thisfunction is possible only with Linear
PCMsound.
!Thisfunction is not possible when disc
playbackhas been stopped.

2 TouchL/R SELECT.
3 TouchL+R (left and right), LEFT (left) or
RIGHT(right).
Note
Dependingon the disc and the playback location
onthe disc, the icon maybe displayed, indicat-
