Auto cueing

This function automatically sets the cue point (P. 25) just before actual sound begins when a disc is loaded, or when performing track search or changing tracks.

If the search continues for ten seconds without finding the point, the cue point is set at the track’s beginning.

Turning auto cueing on and off

Pressing the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button and holding it down for a second or more causes auto cueing to be alternately turned on and off.

When AUTO CUE is on, the [A.CUE] indicator will be lit up.

AUTO CUE on/off status is stored in memory and persists even when the power is turned off.

It can change the AUTO CUE level.

7Changing the AUTO CUE level

1.Press the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button for over 5 seconds.

The display will indicate [–60db] (in the original state).

2.Press the CUE LOOP CALL button (2, 3) to change the level.

It can choose from –36 dB, –42 dB, –48 dB, –54 dB, –60 dB, –66 dB,

–72 dB and –78 dB.

When the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button is pressed or 15 sec- onds elapses, the level change mode is canceled.

Even if you turn the power off, the set level will remain in memory.

Starting playback

1.Insert a disc in the player.

This unit spins discs at high speeds to provide high performance. As a result, disc loading takes a couple of seconds.

2.If auto cueing is on, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6).

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button only after the current time lights in the display. The silent portion at the beginning of the displayed track will be skipped and playback will begin instantaneously from

the first bars of the track.

When one track’s playback ends, the next track is cued. The [CUE] indicator lights, and the PLAY/PAUSE button [6] indicator flashes to indicate the unit is in the play standby mode.

When the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) is pressed, the next track be- gins its playback.

If auto cueing is off, playback will begin automatically from the first track.

When auto cueing is off, playback will continue after the first track has been played, with all subsequent tracks being played in sequence.

When playback of the final track is complete, playback will automati- cally come to an end.

Cuando AUTO CUE está activada, se enciende el indicador [A.CUE].

El estado de activación/desactivación de AUTO CUE se memoriza y permanece memorizado aunque se desconecte la alimentación.

Podrá cambiar el nivel de AUTO CUE.

7Cambio del nivel de AUTO CUE

1.Mantenga presionado el botón TIME MODE/AUTO CUE durante más de 5 segundos.

El visualizador indicará [–60db] (en el estado original).

2.Presione el botón CUE LOOP CALL (2, 3) para cambiar el nivel.

Podrá seleccionar entre –36 dB, –42 dB, –48 dB, –54 dB,

–60 dB, –66 dB, –72 dB y –78 dB.

Cuando se presiona el botón TIME MODE/AUTO CUE o después de haber transcurrido 15 segundos, se cancela el modo de cambio del nivel.

El nivel quedará memorizado aunque desconecte la alimentación.

Inicio de la reproducción

1.Inserte un disco en el reproductor.

Esta unidad hace girar el disco a altas velocidades para ofrecer alto rendimiento. Como resultado, la carga del disco tarda un par de segundos en realizarse.

2.Si la función de localización automática está activada, presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE (6).

Presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE sólo después de haberse encendido el tiempo actual en el visualizador. La parte de silencio

del principio de la pista visualizada se saltará y la reproducción se iniciará instantáneamente desde las primeras barras de la pista.

Cuando termina la reproducción de una pista, se localiza la pista siguiente. Se enciende el indicador [CUE], y parpadea el indicador del botón PLAY/PAUSE [6] para indicar que la unidad está establecida en el modo de espera de reproducción.

Cuando se presiona el botón PLAY/PAUSE (6), se inicia la reproducción de la pista siguiente.

Si la función de localización automática está desactivada, la reproducción se inicia automáticamente desde la primera pista.

Cuando la función de localización automática está desactivada, después de haberse reproducido la primera pista la reproducción continúa reproduciendo todas las otras pistas en secuencia.

Cuando se termina la reproducción de la última pista, la reproducción se detiene automáticamente.
