Note

A separate CUSTOM curve can be created for each source. (The built-in CD player and the multi-CD player are set to the same equalizer ad- justment setting automatically.) If you make ad- justments, the equalizer curve settings are memorized in CUSTOM.

1Press SW to display the subwoofer set- ting mode.

Press SW repeatedly to switch between the subwoofer setting modes in the following order.

SW SETTING 1 (subwoofer on/off setting) set- ting mode—SW SETTING 2 (subwoofer set- ting) setting mode

2Select SW SETTING 1 setting mode.

3Turn MULTI-CONTROL to select the de- sired setting.

NORMAL (normal phase)—REV (reverse

phase)—OFF (subwoofer off)

You can also switch to this setting mode in the menu that appears by using MULTI-CONTROL.

Adjusting loudness

Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.

1Use MULTI-CONTROL to select

LOUDNESS.

2Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the setting mode.

3Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the de- sired setting.

Turn to change the setting.

Using subwoofer output

This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output which can be turned on or off.

Also, phase can be selected between normal and reverse.

Adjusting subwoofer settings

When the subwoofer output is on, you can ad- just the cut-off frequency and the output level of the subwoofer.

!When the subwoofer output is on, you can select SW SETTING 2.

1Press SW to display the subwoofer set- ting mode.

Press SW repeatedly to switch between the subwoofer setting modes in the following order.

2Select SW SETTING 2 setting mode.

3Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the seg- ment you wish to set.
