Display the ID Code

Each XM tuner is identified with a unique radio
ID. You will need the radio ID when activating
XM service or when reporting a problem. How to
display the ID code depends on the channel
select mode.
Channel number select mode
If you select CH 000, the ID code is displayed.
•Select the CH 000 with the 2/3
Channel category select mode
RADIO IDis provided as a channel category for
displaying the ID code.
Select the Channel Category RADIO ID
with the 5/buttons.
•If you select another channel, display of the ID
code is canceled.
•Display of the ID code repeats displaying
RADIO IDand the ID code one after the other..

CD player and care

•Use only CDs that have either of the two
Compact Disc Digital Audio marks as show
below.
•Use only normal, round CDs. If you insert
irregular, non-round, shaped CDs they may
jam in the CD player or not play properly.
•Check all CDs for cracks, scratches or warped
discs before playing. CDs that have cracks,
scratches or are warped may not play prop-
erly. Do not use such discs.
•Avoid touching the recorded (non-printed
side) surface when handling the disc.
•Store discs in their cases when not in use.
•Keep discs out of direct sunlight and do not
expose the discs to high temperatures.
