1 PressMulti-Control to display the main
menu.
FUNCTION,AUDIOand ENTERTAINMENT
appearon the display.
2 UseMulti-Control to select FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
Thefunction name appears on the display.
3 TurnMulti-Control to select the func-
tion.
TurnMulti-Control clockwise to switch be-
tweenthe functions in the following order:
Playmode (repeat play)Random mode
(randomplay)Scan mode (scan play)
Pause(pause)Compression (compres-
sionand BMX)Search mode (search meth-
od)TitleInput"A" (disc title input)
#Youcan also switch between the functions in
thereverse order by turning Multi-Control coun-
terclockwise.
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Thereare two repeat play ranges for the built-
inCD player: Disc repeat (disc repeat) and
Trackrepeat (one-track repeat).
1 UseMulti-Control to select Play mode.
Playmode appears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to select the repeat
range.
PressMulti-Control repeatedly until the de-
siredrepeat range appears in the display.
!Discrepeat Repeat the current disc
!Trackrepeat Repeat just the current
track
Note
Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring Track repeat, the repeat play range
changesto Disc repeat.
Playing tracks in a random
order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks on the
CDin a random order.
1 UseMulti-Control to select
Randommode.
Randommode appears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn random
playon.
Trackswill play in a random order.
#Toturn random play off, press Multi-Control
again.
