Eachpushing Multi-Control up or down in-
creasesor decreases the source volume.
SLA+4 SLA 4is displayed as the source vo-
lumeis increased or decreased.

!Thebuilt-in CD player and the multi-CD player
areset to the same source level adjustment

Using automatic soundlevelizer
Duringdriving, noise in the car changes ac-
cordingto the driving speed and road condi-
tions.The automatic sound levelizer (ASL)
monitorssuch varying noiseand automati-
callyincreases the volume level, if this noise
becomesgreater. The sensitivity (variation of
volumelevel to noise level) of ASL can beset
toone of five levels.
1 UseMulti-Control to select ASL.
ASLappears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn ASL on.
Midappears in the display.
#Toturn ASL off, press Multi-Control again.
3 PushMulti-Control left or right to select
thedesired ASL level.
Eachpushing Multi-Control left or right se-
lectsASL level in the following order:
Low(low)Mid-L (mid-low)Mid (mid)
Mid-H(mid-high)High (high)
