About Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio con- nectivity technology that is developed as a cable replacement for mobile phones, hand- held PCs and other devices. Bluetooth oper- ates in 2.4 GHz frequency range and transmits voice and data at speeds up to 1 megabit per second. Bluetooth was launched by a special interest group (SIG) that comprises of Ericsson Inc., Intel Corp., Nokia Corp., Toshiba and IBM in 1998, and it is currently developed by nearly 2 000 companies worldwide.

About the SAT RADIO READY mark

The SAT RADIO READY mark printed on the shipping box of this product indicates that the Satellite Radio Tuner for Pioneer (i.e., XM tuner and Sirius satellite tuner which are sold separately) can be controlled by this unit. Please inquire to your dealer or nearest authorized Pioneer service station regarding the satellite radio tuner that can be connected to this unit. For satellite radio tuner operation, please refer to the satellite radio tuner owner’s manual.
