CHECK DISC The disc is damaged or dirty.

Take out the disc and check for dust, dirt,	p.36
scratches, etc. Clean as necessary.

The disc is loaded upside down.

Take out the disc and reload it label-side up. If the same message is displayed again after the disc is reloaded, unplug the power cord and plug it in again. If the message is still displayed, please contact a Pioneer authorized service center.

CHECK	A system error occurred, perhaps due to
(blinking	noise or static electricity.

RESUME Power to the unit was interrupted during recording. When power is restored, this message appears.

The recorder is trying to repair the disc. Wait until the message disappears.

E1 The disc was not loaded properly.

Open the disc tray and reload the disc. Make sure that it is seated properly in the disc guide.

E2	The disc mechanism is not working
	properly.

Open the disc tray and make sure that nothing is obstructing it. If the problem persists, contact a Pioneer authorized service center.
