Advanced Features

VPN- Manual Policy Screen

This screen is displayed when you click the Add Manual Policy button on the VPN Policies screen, or when you edit an existing Manual Policy. It allows you to define or edit a "Manual" VPN policy.

A "Manual" VPN policy requires that you enter all data on both VPN endpoints. There is no negotiation between the 2 VPN endpoints.

General

Policy Name Enter a unique name to identify this policy. This name is not supplied to the remote VPN endpoint. It is used only to help you manage the policies.

Remote VPN Select the desired option (IP address or Domain Name) and

Endpoint enter the address of the remote VPN endpoint you wish to connect to.

Note: The remote VPN endpoint must have this VPN Gate- way's address entered as its "Remote VPN Endpoint".
