
Wheelsize settings are a prerequisite for accurate
cyclinginformation.
Toset the wheel size, go to Settings >Bike SET.
SelectBike 1/2/3>Wheel SET.
Thereare two ways to determine the wheel size of
yourbike:
Method1
Measurethe wheel manually for the most accurate
result.
Usethe valve to mark the point where the wheel
touchesthe ground. Draw a line on the ground to
markthe point. Move your bike forward on a flat
surfacefor one complete rotation. The tire should
beperpendicular to the ground. Draw another line
onthe ground when the valve is at the starting
pointto mark a full rotation. Measure the distance
betweenthe two lines.
Subtract4 mm from the distance to account for
yourweight on the bike to get your wheel
circumference.Enter this value in the cycling
computer.
Method2
Lookfor the diameter in inches or in ETRTO
printedon the wheel. Match it to the wheel size in
millimetersin the right column of the ETRTO
charton the following page. Wheel sizes on the
chartare advisory as wheel size depends on the
wheeltype and air pressure. Due to the variation
ofthe measurements, Polar cannot be held
responsiblefor their validity.
Youcan also check the wheel size from the
manufacturer.
