Cyclingcomputer: Keep your cycling computer clean.
Cleanit with a mild soap and water solution and rinse
themwith clean water. Do not immerse the cycling
computerin water. Dry it carefully with a soft towel. Never
usealcohol or any abrasive material such as steel wool or
cleaningchemicals.
Connector:Detach the connector from the strap after every
useand dry the connector with a soft towel. Clean the
connectorwith a mild soap and water solution when
needed.Never use alcohol or any abrasive material (eg.
steelwool or cleaning chemicals).
Strap:Rinse the strap under running water after every use
andhang to dry. Clean the strap gently with a mild soap
andwater solution when needed. Do not use moisturizing
soaps,because they can leave residue on the strap. Do not
soak,iron, dry clean or bleach the strap. Do not stretch
thestrap or bend the electrode areas sharply.
Checkthe label on your strap to see if it is
machinewashable. Never put the strap or the
connectorin a dryer!
Dryand store the strap and the connector separately, to
maximizethe heart rate sensor battery lifetime. Keep your
cyclingcomputer and heart rate sensor in a cool and dry
place.Do not store them in a damp environment, in
non-breathablematerial (a plastic bag or a sports bag) nor
withconductive material (a wet towel). Do not expose
themto direct sunlight for extended periods, such as by
leavingit in a car or mounted on the bike mount.
Avoidhard hits to the cycling computer, speed and
cadencesensors, as these may damage the sensor units.
