TroubleshootingIfyou don't know where your are in the menu,
pressand hold BACK until the time is displayed.
Ifthere are no reactions to any buttons or if the
displayis behaving abnormally, reset the wrist unit
bypressing four buttons (UP, DOWN, BACK AND
LIGHT)simultaneously for four seconds. The
activitylog and all other settings except time and
datewill be saved.
Ifthe animation on the display is not moving while
youare, make sure you are recording, see "Start
Training",then move effectively and fast enough
forthe animation to move. Too slow or too careful
movementmay also stop the animation, as such
movementis not considered beneficial enough.
Ifthe display is blank, the FA20 may be in battery
savingmode, as it is dispatched from the factory.

Ifthe low battery symbol is visible, this may mean
thatthe battery needs changing. For further
information,see Care and Maintenance.
Ifthe battery of the wrist unit must be replaced,
werecommend you service your device at an
authorizedPolar Service Center only. This is
especiallynecessary to ensure that the guarantee
remainsvalid and is not affected by incorrect
repairprocedures performed by an unauthorized
agent.Polar Service will test your FA20 for water
resistanceafter battery replacement, and make a
fullcheck of the device.
