2.Using the Backup Battery Charging Slot
•Charge a second battery in the backup battery charging slot on the docking station.
•Connect the DC plug of the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the docking
station, and plug the adaptor into a household power outlet.
The battery begins charging and the backup battery charge LED on the docking station lights up in orange. The LED turns to green when it is fully charged.
The included battery and a backup battery can be charged via the docking station at the same time. Charge one battery in the camera and the other one in the backup battery slot. The docking station must be powered by the AC adaptor. For more information on backup batteries, refer to
• Turning the Camera On and Off Slide the power switch in the arrow direction fully to turn on the camera. The lens will extend when the camera is turned on. Slide the power switch towards the lens to turn off the camera and the lens will retract.
