USING 5-WAY BINDING POSTS

To connect wire to the binding post, unscrew the plastic hex nut on the binding post and insert the bare wire into the hole near the base of the binding post. Do not insert the insulated part of the wire into the hole as this will not give you a good connection. Twist the hex nut back down the binding post until it firmly meets the wire. Do not over-tighten.

AC POWER

The RT powered loudspeakers have a built-in power amplifier and must be plugged into a standard household AC power source in order to properly operate. RT powered loud- speakers sold within North America are designed to be connected to 110-120 volt AC outlets (Figure 3).

Para conectar el cable al poste de conexión, desenrosque parcialmente la tuerca hexagonal de plástico e inserte el alambre pelado en el orificio cerca de la base del poste. No inserte la parte aislada del cable ya que no obtendrá una conexión adecuada. Enrosque la tuerca de nuevo hasta que asegure el cable firmemente, pero sin apretarla excesivamente.

Las bocinas RT de potencia contienen su pro- pio amplificador de potencia y por ende es necesario conectarlas a una fuente de energía eléctrica (enchufe ordinario de corriente alterna de la casa), para su correcta operación. Las bocinas RT de potencia vendi- das en América del Norte están diseñadas para ser conectadas a enchufes de corriente alterna de 110-120 voltios (Figura 3).

Pour connecter le fil au bornier, dévissez l’écrou en plastique du bornier et insérez le fil nu dans le trou à la base du bornier. N’insérez pas la partie isolée du câble dans le trou car le contact ne se ferait pas. Visser l’écrou du bornier jusqu’à ce qu’il serre fer- mement le fil. Ne serrez pas trop.

ALIMENTATION CA

Les enceintes amplifiées RT contiennent un amplificateur intégré et doivent être branchées à une prise de courant standard CA pour fonctionner correctement. Les enceintes RT vendues en Amérique du Nord sont conçues pour être branchées à une ali- mentation 110-120 volts CA (figure 3).
