6Right-click on the MCU virtual machine, then click Power > Restart Guest

The virtual machine and the MCU instance restart.

Upgrading and Downgrading

This procedure allows an administrator to update the MCU instance without requiring the

administrator to reregister the product.

To update the MCU instance:

1On the RealPresence Collaboration Server menu, click Administration > Software

Management > Backup Configuration.

DO NOT click Reset. Doing so may corrupt the Virtual Machine.

Updating the MCU instance requires the previously used activation key. If you no longer have the

activation key, contact support before starting this procedure.
