A valid speed dial index is any unused number from 1 to 9999.

6.Press the Save soft key to accept your changes.

7.Press to return to the idle screen.

To assign a new speed dial key:

 

1. Press and hold an unassigned

.

A new empty entry in the contact directory is automatically opened allowing contact information to be added.

2.(Optional.) Enter contact information.

Use the 1/A/a soft key to select between numeric and upper/lower case alphanumeric modes.

Use the Encoding soft key to access special characters in other languages.

3.Enter a contact number.

The number must be unique (not already in the directory).

4.Change the Speed Dial Index field.

The index can be any value between the next available index value and the maximum (value of 9999).

Polycom recommends that you assign speed dial index values consecutively.

For example, if you assign the third Line Key to the speed dial index value “2”, assign the fourth Line Key to the speed dial index value “3”.

5.Press the Save soft key to accept your changes.

6.Press to return to the idle screen.

Using Voice Mail

Voice mail is an optional feature configured on the call server and may not be

 

supported on your particular system. For more information, contact your system

 

administrator.

 

Screen options may vary with your application. Voice mail may be accessible with a

 

single key press. Contact your system administrator about this option.

 

 

 

You can access voice mail messages from your phone (if enabled). Your voice

 

mail is saved in a centralized location.
