Shared Lines
A shared line is indic ated by a different line icon. In the exam ple below, the first li ne is private and the second line
is shared. An incomin g call to that number causes both phone s to ring if two phone s share a line. The ca ll can be
answered on either ph one but not both. If a sh ared line is in use o n one of the phones, i t cannot be used on th e
other one. The shared l ine icon changes to a moving icon, and th e line LED turns red w hen it is in use remote ly.
Calls on shared line s can be transferre d, put on hold, or add ed to a conference.

Access Voice Mail

Received me ssages are indicated by a flashing M essage Wai ting Indic ator LED on th e front of th e phone.
Individual l ine indica tors reflect voice or tex t message s left on th at line (use ful if multi ple lines are in use).
A stutter dia l tone in pla ce of a norm al dial tone also indic ates that on e or more voi ce message s are in you r
message cen ter.

. Press .
. Select Messa ge Center.
. Select the line y ou want to retrieve mess ages from if multi ple lines are in us e. The display indic ates the
number of messages a nd their import ance.
. Press Connec t to retrieve messages.
