This model is equipped with a coupler which

CAUTION: Whenremoving or ins talling at-
tachments, place the unit on a flat surf ace for
stability.
1. Loosenthe coupler by turning the knob
counterclockwise.

3. Whilesec urely holding the engine and
upper shaft, pull the attachment straight
out of the coupler.

1. Removethe shaft c ap from theat tach-
ment(if present).
2. Positionlocking/release button of attach-
ment intoguide r ecess of coupler.
3. Pushtheattachment into the c oupler until
theloc king/release button snaps into the
primary hole.
4. Beforeusingthe unit, tighten the knob se-
curely by turning clockwise.

WARNING : Make sure the locking/
release button is locked in the primary hole
andthe knob is s ecurely tightened before op-
erating the unit. All attachments are designed
tobe us ed in the primary hole unless otherw ise
stated in the applicable attachment instruction

HANGER

Anattachment hanger is prov ided for storage
when attachment is not in use.
Toinstall hanger on attachment:
1. Removethe shaft cap from the attach-
ment( if present) and discard.
2. Pressand hold the loc king/release button.
3. Pushhanger onto the attachment until the
locking/release button snaps into the hole.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended that the engine not be
operated for longer than 1 minuteat full
throttle.
