Communication Port Configuration

To establish communication between the UPS and a computer, connect your computer to the UPS communication port using the supplied communication cable. Use only the factory-supplied cable and software. See Table 2 for detailed information.

C A U T I O N

To prevent damage to your equipment, connect only a factory-supplied cable or a cable built to factory specifications (see Table 2) to the communication port. A standard serial cable may damage your computer.
