5.To mount the phone on a wall

plate, plug the other end of the short modular cord into the

wall plate jack, then align the

with the wall plate studs and

Installation

• If the base loses power for 60

minutes while the handset is

away from it, the security code

might be lost. To reset the code,

return the handset to the base

for about five seconds.

• Using a pencil eraser, clean the

charging contacts on the

handset and base about once a

month.

• If the battery pack becomes

weak during a call, the handset

beeps every three seconds and

happens, you cannot make a

call until you recharge the

battery pack.

pack's usable life.

7.Press and lift out the handset holder, flip it over, then snap it back into place to hold the handset.

8.Raise the base’s antenna to a vertical position.

The phone comes with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium (Ni- Cd) battery pack in the handset. Before using your phone, you must connect the battery pack, then charge it for about 15–20 hours.±

1.Press down and slide off the battery pack compartment cover.

2.Lift the battery pack out of the compartment.
