Set the TV GUIDELINES Rating Limits
The TV GUIDELINES menu lets you decide which TV programs can and can’t be viewed according to age and/or content. The TV/VCR locks and unlocks the parental controls settings using a password you select.

If you forget your password, unplug the TV. Press and hold both the VOL up and STOP/EJECT buttons on the front panel of the TV/VCR while you plug in the TV/VCR. Release the buttons after approximately 2 seconds. This resets the password.
