La Mirage Quattro è una maschera che copre naso e bocca. Ciò significa che si può ricevere una terapia efficace respirando anche dalla bocca.

La maschera è dotata di fori per l’esalazione e di una valvola che consentono di continuare a respirare aria ambiente anche nelle situazioni in cui il flusso alla maschera fosse impedito.

Indicazioni per l’uso

La maschera Mirage Quattro eroga in modo non invasivo al paziente il flusso d’aria proveniente da un dispositivo a pressione positiva alle vie aeree, ad esempio un sistema CPAP (a pressione positiva continua alle vie aeree) o bilevel.

La Mirage Quattro va utilizzata da pazienti adulti (>30 kg) cui sia stata prescritta una terapia a base di pressione positiva alle vie aeree.

La Mirage Quattro è una maschera monopaziente a domicilio e multipaziente in contesto ospedaliero.

Prima di utilizzare la maschera

AVVERTENZE

La maschera Mirage Quattro va utilizzata sotto la supervisione di personale qualificato qualora il paziente non sia in grado di togliersi la maschera da solo. La maschera non è adatta ai pazienti predisposti ad aspirazione.

Il complesso di gomito e valvola è progettato per l’uso con la maschera Mirage Quattro e svolge funzioni specifiche di tutela della sicurezza. La maschera non va indossata qualora la valvola sia danneggiata e non più in grado di svolgere tali funzioni. Sostituire la valvola se essa risulta danneggiata, deformata o lacerata.
