•Non stirare il copricapo in quanto il materiale di cui è composto è sensibile al calore e ne risulterebbe danneggiato.

Operazioni quotidiane/dopo ciascun uso

Per ottimizzare la tenuta della maschera, rimuovere i grassi del viso dal cuscinetto prima dell'uso.

Lavare a mano la maschera strofindandola delicatamente in acqua calda (circa 30°C) usando un sapone delicato o un detergente per i piatti diluito. Non ruotare la valvola durante la pulizia in quanto ciò potrebbe danneggiare o lacerare la sua membrana o il suo cardine. Prestare attenzione nel maneggiare la valvola.

Se il foro per l’esalazione necessita di pulizia, usare uno spazzolino a setole morbide.

Sciacquare con cura tutti i componenti in acqua potabile e lasciarli asciugare all'aria e al riparo dalla luce solare diretta. Non mettere a bagno la maschera.

Operazioni settimanali

Lavare a mano il copricapo strofindandolo delicatamente in acqua calda (circa 30°C) usando un sapone delicato o un detergente per i piatti diluito. Sciacquare bene e lasciare asciugare all'aria e al riparo dalla luce solare diretta.

Pulizia della maschera tra un paziente e l'altro

Nel passaggio da un paziente a un altro la Mirage Quattro va disinfettata o sterilizzata. Tutti i componenti, ad eccezione del copricapo, sono omologati per fino a 20 cicli di disinfezione o sterilizzazione usando uno dei seguenti processi:

•Disinfezione termica a una combinazione massima di temperatura-tempo di 93°C per 10 minuti

•Disinfezione chimica (es. Cidex™ OPA o Cidex Plus™)

•Sistema di sterilizzazione STERRAD™ (es. 100S or NX).

Il copricapo va lavato a fondo tra un paziente e l'altro, come descritto nella sezione “Pulizia della maschera a domicilio”.

Riassemblaggio della maschera

Vedere la sezione D del foglio delle illustrazioni.

Prima di riassemblare la maschera, verificare che tutti i componenti siano puliti e asciutti. Verificare che la valvola non sia danneggiata, deformata o lacerata, e che nessuno degli altri componenti sia rotto o incrinato. Sostituire eventuali parti danneggiate.
