When Multiple Sheets Are Fed at the Same Time

Follow the procedure below to correct a multiple sheet feed problem of the LCIT.

A Adjust the feeding pressure lever of the LCIT according to the thickness of the paper loaded.

❒Paper heavier than 127.9 – 209.3 g/m2 (34.0 – 55.6 lb.) is catego- rized as thick paper. However, for B5 JIS paper heavier than 127.9 g/m2 (34.0 lb.), set the feeding pressure lever to Stan- dard.

❒When paper is still not fed prop-

erly even after the feeding pres-

sure lever is adjusted, increase 4 the paper feeding pressure of

the machine.

B If the problem still persists, take the paper out and fan it before loading it again.
