Installing Burn Media
If using the optional fireglass or driftwood burn media, installation instructions are included with those accessories.
Layer 1 - Pumice
Use a scoop or gloved hands to transfer the pumice. Avoid pouring because dust particles can clog the burner.
Fill the burner tray with pumice and spread level to the bottom of the granite trims. Not all the pumice will be needed as more has been supplied than is necessary.
Layer 2 - Single Layer of Small Quartz
Using all the small quartz provide, place a single layer of small quartz stones covering the entire top of the pumice.
Layer 3 - Single Layer of 14 Pieces of Large Quartz
Place the 14 pieces of large quartz stones on top of the small quartz. Do not stack the large stones on large stones.
