Numeric IR Procedure (continued)
A. DEVICE CODE – Select and enter the IR device code number from the Reference section of this manual.
B. KEY FUNCTION – Select and enter the function you want the suffix command to perform (e.g., Enter, Play).
iv.Select and enter Macro to configure the suffix command with a macro. (To build macros, see Macro Editor Procedure on page 38.) Procedure advances to MACRO ID.
A. MACRO ID – Select and enter the macro ID number.
v.Select and enter Unassigned to clear the suffix command.
7.SAVE CHANGES? – Select and enter Yes to save the changes. Procedure returns to SOURCE NUM (step 1).
Press the Setup button to back out of the procedure.
Source Select Command Procedure (Optional)
This procedure allows you to program the keypad to to send a command (e.g., Play, Enter) to a source component whenever that source is selected. See Source Select Command and # Of Sources Procedures flow chart on page 50.
Note: Normally you don’t need to use a source select command to start a source playing, since you can use the Auto Play feature in the Source Basic Setup procedure to do this. If you do program a Play command, don’t use a Play/Pause toggle function as this will alternate whenever the source is selected.
To begin the Source Select Command Procedure, select SOURCE SETUP from the Programming Menu top level and press . At
BASIC SETUP, press Previous twice. At SRC SEL CMD, press Play .
1.SOURCE NUM – Select and enter the source you want to configure.
2.COMMAND TYPE – Select and enter a command type for the source. Choose one of the following options:
