Keypad Operation

On/Off

Press and release to turn on the K2 keypad. This will also activate any speakers wired through the speaker relay on the back of the K2. If power management is set up on your keypad, turning on the keypad will also turn on your amp/receiver and source components. If you have more than one K2 keypad in your system, this will occur when you turn on the first keypad.

Press and release to turn off the K2 keypad. This will interrupt any speakers wired through the keypad’s speaker relay.

System All On/Off

If you have more than one K2 keypad in your system, you can issue an All On command by turning on one

keypad and then pressing and holding it for 3 sec- onds. All other K2 keypads will then turn on. You can issue an All Off command by turning off any keypad and

then pressing and holding . All K2 keypads will then

turn off. If power management is set up on your keypad, the All Off command will turn off your amp/receiver and source components.

System On Indicator

When a keypad is off but the connected audio system is

on, is illuminated and the "SYS ON" icon remains visible on the display. This feature requires the use of the status power connection on the K2.

Source Select Key

The key scrolls through up to eight source inputs.

To change sources, press and release . Each time, a different source name will appear on the keypad dis-

play. You can also press and hold to enter the User Menu. (See User Menu on next page.)

Volume Up/Down Keys

The audio output volume of the amplifier/receiver is
